A famous singer dies in the middle of a concert

This Saturday, at the Accor Arena in Paris, singer Michael Benjamin died at the end of the concert, struck down by a heart attack.

Invited by the Carimi group for a unique show tour, singer Michael Benjamin, also called Mikaben, died at the end of the concert.

Aged 41 and originally from Haiti, the artist was accompanied by Carlo Vieux, Mickael Guirand and Richard Cave. Shortly before 11 p.m., as the show was coming to an end, the singer collapsed after finishing his performance in front of thousands of spectators.

One of the members of the group then spoke to ask the spectators to evacuate the premises. " It's very complicated, we are asking to evacuate the room, we need your prayer, someone has fainted ," he warned.

The concert was therefore interrupted and the room, in shock, evacuated.

Doctors and emergency services quickly intervened to try to resuscitate him, but in vain. His death was officially announced shortly after midnight.

The Prime Minister of Haiti has split a tribute to the announcement of the death of Michael Benjamin. "The country and the Haitian youth have lost a beautiful soul. It is a great reference of Haitian music that has just passed away", wrote Ariel Henry on Twitter.
