Gims begins the new year with a controversy.
The rapper's remarks caused a scandal when he asked his fans (and in particular Muslims) not to send him their wishes for 2022, on the grounds that "it is not part of our convictions (...) We respect but it's not our parties ".
And to add about birthdays too: "I suffer with that. It's one more step towards death. We don't celebrate that. It's not part of our convictions, come on let's focus on our things us. It's not mean. But let's stay strong on our values" .
