CAMEROON: NO MORE WORK OR SCHOOL AFTER 2 PM TO FILL THE STADIUMS

Will the CAN stadiums come alive? Aware that the absence of spectators in the stadiums tarnishes the beauty of the African Cup of Nations, the Cameroonian government has just published a press release suspending school and professional activities from 2 p.m. to allow Cameroonians to go in the speakers.

"On very high instructions from the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, informs the national community that, during the days of the CAN meetings, school and academic activities will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. , professional activities will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This measure will apply in the public sector from Monday, January 17 until February 4,” the statement said.
